| Neutral
Service |
| Neutral Service (known sometimes
as Race Service or Service) can play an important role within
the race by aiding the riders and the event organiser, especially
when problems occur. Two typical areas where neutral service
usually provides cover are: a rider punctures and requires
a new wheel, and when a rider(s) crashes. |
Usually the most common reason
neutral service is called into action is when a rider has
the misfortune of puncturing. The vehicle pulls up behind
the rider, changes the punctured wheel which in return allows
the rider to continue within the race as normal.
Without a neutral service vehicle, riders could face a long
walk or a very slow ride back to the race HQ. So with this
in mind we have put together a short list of people who are
willing to provide Neutral Service for your event. |
